If you want to compete at the highest levels of extreme sports and want to do so with the most equipment and the most training, you’ll need to have the right equipment.
The equipment manufacturers we spoke with said it’s not just about getting the best performance, but it’s also about getting everything right, from weightlifting gear to diving gear.
“If you have a lot of equipment, you’re going to have a better chance to perform,” said Brian Hines, director of product management for the Aquatic Sports Group at Nike.
“A lot of people look at [their equipment] as their ultimate gear.
“I’ve seen many guys come to the gym with no equipment and say, ‘I’m going to do this, I’m going do that, but I don’t know how to do it.’ “

We took a look at the gear that makes up a great gear set and why we think it’s so important.
Weightlifting gear and diving gear For weightlifting and diving, you need a lot more than just your basic equipment.
While we’re focusing on the gear manufacturers and the brands that offer them, there’s a lot to be said for using a full range of equipment.
You’ll want something with a lot at stake and you’ll want to be able to go for the most distance.
You want something that can withstand a lot and is going to be durable and comfortable.
And finally, you want something to help you get the most out of your workouts.
“There’s no one type of gear for everyone,” said Mark DeLuca, director and trainer for the Olympic Weightlifting Group at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
“The most important thing is to use what works for you.
For weightlifters, this means a variety of equipment: a squat rack, a deadlift rack, an Olympic barbell, or a barbell that has a wide variety of grip levels and weights. “

“You’re not going to need to get every kind of rig that you can use, but you should have enough gear that you’re ready for anything.”
Body gear and gear for diving The body equipment companies that we spoke to said that you’ll have to be willing to work with a range of different equipment to achieve your goal.
“In terms of body gear, it is really important to have an adequate amount of equipment that can support the rig you’re working with,” said Matt Smith, director for sport at the New York City-based company GNS.
“That way, when you dive, you can keep your body in a position that suits you and you can still perform the activities that you want.”
For example, Smith said that a bar that is high on the ground and narrow at the bottom will be better suited for diving than a bar with a wider bottom and a wider top.
“Body gear should not be heavy,” he said.
Powerlifting gear for weightlifting The most important gear for powerlifting is a bar, Smith added.
You can’t just rely on your weightlifting setup to handle the rig.
“With powerlifting, you will need a combination of equipment,” Smith said.
The best barbells for powerlifters are usually the ones with a narrow head and a wide handle.
“When you have one with a wide head, you get a lot out of it.
But when you have two wide heads, you don’t get as much out of the rig,” he added.
“They have more support than the smaller heads you can find in the gym.”
Smith said he prefers the bars that have a wide and long bottom.
“And the best way to do that is to go with the wide ones.
If you don’ have a bar at the end of the handle, then you’ll just end up with a bar hanging from the end, which is not the best.”
Diving gear and equipment for diving divers The gear manufacturers that we talked to also said that divers will need to take advantage of the equipment options available to them, including a variety that has more options and a variety for different training goals.
“One of the things that I look for when I’m doing a dive training program is how many different equipment options can be used in that program,” said DeLucan.
